Also provides information about Washington state's "911 Good Samaritan" law. The law provides immunity from criminal charges of drug possession to those who seek medical help for a drug overdose, whether they are seeking help for themselves or if they are witnessing the overdose. The immunity does not extend to outstanding warrants, probation or parole violations, drug manufacture or delivery, controlled substances homicide, or crimes other than drug possession.
