Education Resources offered at GLSEN Washington State

Combats the harassment and discrimination leveled against students and school personnel who identify as LGBTQ.  Collects information and helps students resolve discrimination and harassment issues by working with school personnel and school boards.  Believes that the key to ending anti-gay (and LGBTQ) prejudice and hate-motivated violence is education.  GLSEN works to ensure that LGBTQ students are able to learn and grow in a school environment free from bullying and harassment. Also organizes Gay-Straight Alliances (GSA) or Sexuality and Gender Alliances (SAGA) clubs in area middle/high schools and maintains contact information.
