Healthy Outcomes Pregnancy Classes offered at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and Health Network - Main WIC Office
Promotes healthy weight gain during pregnancy. Participants receive nutritional guidance (tips, samples, etc) and are led in a safe physical activity. Classes are held at the Tacoma University YMCA and the Lakewood YMCA. Classes run once per week in a series of four consecutive weeks and are recurring each month. Each weekly class is 90 minutes. Participants receive incentives like a pedometer, water bottle, measuring spoon and a 4-week YMCA membership.
