Supports Reentry Advocates, Resource Coaches and Peer Navigators who meet one-on-one or with small groups to assist in locating and accessing the tools and resources needed to make a smooth transition back to the community after incarceration.

Requests for pre-release resource mentoring can by made by a counselor, chaplain, family member or other advocate by emailing [email protected] Request can also be mailed to: New Connections, 613 S 15th St, Tacoma, WA 98405. Self referrals from formerly incarcerated people can be made using this same contact information.

Eligibility
Offers reentry resource mentoring for women at Mission Creek Corrections Center for Women and Washington Corrections Center for Women. Offers reentry resource mentoring to men and women in Pierce County Jail. Visits to other correctional facilities are arranged on a case-by-case basis. Appointment can be made for reentry resource mentoring and referrals using the warm line. New Connections' Re-entry Resource warm line (non-emergency calls): Designed to assist formerly incarcerated individuals, their families, and others who support them. Referrals for basic needs and reentry resources.
