Educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.

Email to register. Applicant needs to complete a six-class training series and one final hands on drill. Classes are held throughout the year.

Eligibility
Residents in the Lakewood and University Place area that wish to be more involved in emergency preparedness in their community. Must be over the age of 16.
