Care Connection offered at Senior Services for South Sound

Care Connection offered at Senior Services for South Sound

Connects quality caregivers and housekeepers with people who need home care. Maintains a registry of independent providers in Thurston and Mason counties. Screens and interviews the caregivers to ensure clients are receiving safe and reliable support. Provides individuals of all ages with a place to turn when they need assistance for personal support, companionship, personal assistance, transportation, physical therapy, housekeeping, end of life care, and more. Allows caregivers to be more flexible in terms of service than traditional homecare agencies. They can administer medication, help with physical therapy, and many more services that other caregivers cannot do. The caregivers (independent providers) work directly with clients to shape their support. Represents both clients and caregivers, offering continued support when needed. The independent providers are not employees of Care Connection; the client to whom they are referred becomes their employers. As employers, the client is responsible for directly paying their independent provider for hours worked. Care Connection maintenance fees support Senior Services.
