Fee

There is a small fee for the training that is intended to cover the cost of materials. Participants are expected to "pay-back" a pre-determined number of volunteer hours.

Eligibility

Anyone is eligible to be a Master Gardener Volunteer.Volunteers must be willing to follow WSU Guidelines for plant care and willing to work with the public.

WSU Grant and Adams County Extension

Grant-Adams Area Extension provides educational programs available to the people in Grant County and part of Adams County receiving water from the Columbia Basin Irrigation Project. The mission is to help people develop leadership skills and use research-based knowledge to improve their economic status and quality of life.  Programs are available to all people in agriculture and natural resources, 4-H youth development, family living and community resource development. This is accomplished be providing information, education, technical assistance and local development programs.
