Clark County Weatherization Program offered at Clark County Community Services

Provides energy efficiency and indoor air quality improvements for single-family, multifamily and mobile homes. Some typical weatherization work that may be done to a home includes the following: - Insulating the attic, walls, floor, water heater, and exposed pipes. - Providing ventilation fans, including electric, attic, ceiling, or whole house fans. - Installing weather stripping, caulking around windows and doors. - Protecting insulation measures through minor repairs. - Tune up, repair heating unit (only for homeowners) in conjunction with other weatherization measures. - Indoor Air Quality: Test homes for indoor air pollution, mitigate problems, and provide education concerning indoor air problems and risks.
