Student Support Services offered at Skagit Valley Community College Mount Vernon Campus

Student Support Services is a federally-funded program that helps low-income and non-traditional students be successful at SVC by providing academic and other support services.  Services include one on one tutoring, study skills instruction, computer literacy, class advising, and counseling to assist with personal, financial and career decisions.

Skagit Valley College

Skagit Valley College is a two-year community college serving Skagit, Island, and San Juan counties in northwest Washington state.  With a focus on excellence: access, achievement, and community, SVC's district includes the Mount Vernon Campus in Mount Vernon, the Whidbey Island Campus in Oak Harbor, the South Whidbey Center in Langley, and the San Juan Center in Friday Harbor.  SVC grants transfer degrees, technical degrees, and certificates.  The academic transfer degree and several workforce education degrees can be completed entirely online.  In addition, SVC provides students with a variety of support services including admissions and registration, advising, career services, financial aid, and tutoring.
