Offers community education forums, conferences and presentations for the public on a wide variety of topics.   Organizes an annual regional education conference in the spring. Offers free online courses about understanding Alzheimer's as well as living with Alzheimer's. Provides CE and CEU at some dementia trainings for professionals; includes DSHS approved CE trainings.   Provides community outreach to multi-ethnic groups and rural areas.

Alzheimer's Association Washington State Chapter

Provides 24-hour education and support services for those affected by Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Provides dementia-specific disease support groups for family members and care partners, and for those in the early stages of the disease process. Conducts comprehensive, individualized needs assessments, assists in care plan development and provides on-going follow-ups for people with dementia and their caregivers. Offers educational workshops, conferences and forums. Also offers specialized programs for those in the early stages of the disease process.
