Advocacy offered by Disabled American Veterans' Washington Service Office

Provides a service officer who appears before the Veterans Administration rating board and assists the client in obtaining rightful benefits.  Use of the officer can substantially minimize the time required for processing.  Service officers also assist veterans with disabilities in preparing claims for service connected compensation, hospitalization, occupational training, education, insurance, or other benefits.  No assistance is available for Social Security claims.

Fee

None.    Optional lifetime membership fees: $325 for a lifetime membership. Free for those ages 80 and older.
