WIC Program offered at Skagit County Community Action Agency at the Naval Air Station on Whidbey Island
WIC provides monthly benefits for specific nutritious foods critical to growth and development for pre- and post-natal women, infants and children to age five. Participants also receive nutrition assessment and education, and breastfeeding education and support. Breastfeeding Support Program provides instruction and counseling and free breast pumps and other aids to success. Services are provided by registered dietitians and certified paraprofessionals and peer breastfeeding counselors and lactation counselor.
