Supports 25 public school districts and 23 state-approved private and tribal schools of South Central Washington in achieving student success. Works to meet the expressed needs of local school districts by coordinating and conducting cooperative programs for the needs of approximately 66,000 students in the four counties we serve. Works in a cost-efficient manner to: - Achieve school and student success - Create safe and healthy learning environments - Implement and manage several cooperatives for services of mutual benefit to our districts - Introduce educators to new research and creative ways of teaching and learning - Provide administrative, business and financial support services to districts - Offer innovative professional development and training based on district needs - Make new technology more available - Direct student services include: Blossoms Early Learning Center (411 N. 4th Street, Yakima), Open Doors 105 high school completion assistance, and Seedlings Head Start Early Learning Centers.
