Carefrontations

Provides family, adult, youth, and workplace crisis interventions for substance abuse and chemical dependency, eating disorders, gambling, internet addiction, sexual issues and any other unhealthy behavior that warrants interruption. Interventions are typically a two day process in which an intervention team is put together, help is secured, and the team participates in a six hour preparation without identified patient/love one present. In preparation period, education, discussion, letter writing, role-play experience, and finalization of all details in order so that the intervention occurs the following day. Intervention is facilitated in such a way so that the loved one doesn't know. Intervention is between one to two hours where each team member has the opportunity to read their letter to their loved one. The letter is expressed in a non-threatening way. They relate just how concerned they are and how much they want them to get help. The ultimate goal is to get the individual in need of help to agree to go get help, and go straight from the intervention to said help.
