Weatherization Services offered by King County Housing Authority

Makes grants to eligible households to cover the costs of labor and materials for work to make homes more energy efficient.  Projects may include the following:  -  Air Sealing (Foam Sealant, Weather-stripping and Caulking) to prevent drafts -  Insulation -  Ventilation - Minor repairs to accommodate energy saving measures Generally does not provide new windows.

Eligibility

King County homeowners and tenants living outside the city limits of Seattle, in single-family units, mobile homes and qualified apartment buildings.   Apartment buildings may qualify if 50% or more of the tenants are income-eligible.   Gross household income must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level, or 60% of Area Median Income.
