Crime Victim Advocacy Program offered at Emergency Support Shelter

Provides assistance with safety planning, aid in making police reports and filing protection orders, assistance in navigating the court system, accompaniment services, establishing address confidentiality, and assistance with applying for crime victim compensation programs. Examples of crime victims supported might include hate crimes, drunk driving, identity theft, attempted homicide, assault, burglary, or elder abuse. Does not provide support to victims of domestic violence or sexual assault.
