OHSU's Comprehensive Care Teaching Clinic provides general dentistry services performed by dental students under the direct supervision of dentists who are faculty members of the School of Dentistry. No single crowns or TMJ treatment offered. Urgent care treatment is for patients in pain and is limited to one tooth or problem. Free orthodontic clinic screening. No child care is available; children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and are not allowed in treatment areas unless receiving care.

Application process
Call for information or appointment. New patient visits include an initial oral health screening to assess your overall dental health needs. Because this is a teaching clinic, some appointments take more time. For urgent care clinics: Call at 8am to schedule an appointment (not on same day).
Fee
Varies by procedure; no free care. Because this is a teaching clinic, services are offered at lower cost than at area private practices. Accepts most dental insurance plans, including Medicaid (OHP and Apple Health). Payment due at time of service. Also offers payment plans through CareCredit.
Eligibility
Every case is determined by the teaching value to the student that is available to take clients. Accepts patients with and without dental insurance.
