Crisis Psychiatric Care (Sub-acute) offered by Albertina Kerr Centers at Crisis Psychiatric for Youth

Provides short-term residential placement and 24-hour access to mental health professionals to address children's urgent mental health crises. Children receive a psychiatric assessment by a psychiatrist, individual and family therapy with a Master's-level clinician, and a physical health exam. Provides a calming, secure setting for children in crisis. Designed to resolve crisis situations and reduce the danger of aggression or self-harm. Specializes in working with children who have both developmental disabilities and a mental health diagnosis.

Provides mental health services for children and their families, including early intervention for children ages 3-5, crisis psychiatric residential services, intensive community-based treatment support services, family counseling, an accredited therapeutic school, outpatient counseling, and group home care for youth with combined mental health challenges and developmental disabilities. Services for adults with developmental disabilities include group homes, community inclusion, skills training, and supported living services.
