Head Start offered by Neighborhood House at St. Elizabeth Early Childhood Center
Offers full day Head Start classes for low-income families with children ages 3-5 living in or have childcare or work address inside of the Seattle or Highline Public School District areas. Our program uses a research-based curriculum and instruction to give students a boost as they go into kindergarten. We also offers comprehensive health and nutrition services.

Eligibility
Children ages 3 through 5. Family is homeless or child is in foster care. Family is receiving SNAP or TANF or SSI. Income must be at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level. Families with the highest need are prioritized first. Families must live in/around: - Yesler Terrace (Central Seattle) - High Point (West Seattle) - New Holly (South Seattle) - Rainier Vista (South Seattle) Living in or have childcare or work address inside of Seattle Public School district or Highline Public School District area. Priority given to children with special needs.

Offers bilingual case management, parenting classes, ESL/citizenship classes, early learning programs, after-school youth tutoring and job search assistance and training. Also provides rental and housing assistance, family caregiver support, and HIV/Hep C/substance abuse prevention, counseling, testing and treatment.
