Diabetes Education and Prevention Program offered at Tri-State Memorial Hospital
Helps participants adopt the healthy habits needed to prevent Type 2 diabetes and provides diabetes education to those who have been diagnosed. Trained lifestyle coaches lead classes to help participants make better food choices, increase physical activity, and learn coping skills to maintain weight loss and healthy lifestyle changes.

Application process
Call to find out more information about class times. Hospital can put interested residents on a waiting list to be notified when the next class will start.Documents Required for the prevention program: Verifiable diagnosis of pre-diabetes.
Eligibility
Individuals 18 and older who have been diagnosed with pre-diabetes.
Fee
Accepts WA Apple Health (Medicaid), Medicare, and private insurance; call for more information.
