Focuses on improving the health and functioning of older adults through a low-cost, comprehensive system of health promotion and disease management programs.  Programs include the following: -  Health and wellness information booth -  Monthly blood pressure check-ups -  Weekly Zumba fitness dance classes

Hours

Zumba: M Th, 10:30-11:30am. Blood pressure screenings: 4th Th of the month, 10:30am-1pm.

Eligibility

Primarily serves Filipino and Filipino-American older adults, but everyone is welcome.

Fee

Fees vary depending on the program site location. Most are free or low-cost.

Filipino Community of Seattle

Provides social, charitable and cultural opportunities focusing on the Filipino/Filipino-American community, such as assistance programs for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking, as well as senior health and nutrition programs.  Offers information and referral services, as well as youth programs including mentoring, leadership training, traditional Filipino folk dance classes and a robotics technology program.  Operates a food bank twice a week for anyone in need.
