Drop-In Homeless Resource Center offered by Auburn Food Bank at Ray of Hope Resource Center

Offers day shelter for families and individuals experiencing homelessness in the Auburn area. Services include the following: -  Restrooms -  Showers once per week -  Laundry facilities once per month -  A la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner -  Phone charging station -  Referrals to employment resources -  Limited assistance for obtaining ID/driver licenses Opens a cooling/warming center during weather advisories. No beds available, but clients can sit (and sleep) at tables, eat, charge phones, watch TV, come and go, etc.

Drop-in: M-Sa, 8:30am-8pm Su, 2-8:30pm. Warming Center: open thru Tu, Feb. 28, 2023, 9pm-7am.

Eligibility

Those experiencing homelessness in the Auburn area. Building is accessible to those with wheelchairs and other mobility devices, but guests must be self-sufficient and able to transfer without assistance.

Offers emergency financial and food assistance to Auburn School District (Auburn, Pacific and Algona) residents, including home food delivery to homebound seniors. Financial assistance is available for basic needs such as eviction prevention, utilities and prescriptions. Operates a food pantry, a resource center for the homeless and provides a community supper each Monday.
