LIMITED FUNDING - Provides families with children living on the outskirts of Tri-Cities with rent assistance through the CDBG program. This service is for those behind on rent or have an eviction notice.

Application process

Apply online. Once an application has been submitted, the BFCAC will call the applicant to schedule an appointment if they qualify. Needs and services will be determined at time of intake. Those that are not able to apply online, may call the CAC for assistance applying.

Eligibility

Eligibility varies by program. - Covid-19 Related Rent Assistance: Must be a household that has been impacted by Covid-19. - Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA): families with children or a pregnant female who are literally homeless or at-risk/at-imminent risk of homelessness.

Services include, but are not limited to: rent and eviction prevention services, supportive and emergency housing, childcare support services, low-income energy assistance, weatherization, and minor home repair.
