Offers a 12-session program offered in Spanish that empowers parents to guide and support their children successfully to do better in life and school. Parents learn eight basic parenting techniques: - Effective Praise - Mild Social Disapproval - Ignoring - Time Out - The Point System - First/Then - Show and Tell - Family Chat Families also get connected to resources in the community and have access to an Ask the Doc session, where they can ask any question to a Pediatrician. Classes are available in-person and on-line. Assists with free childcare, snacks, tutoring for attending in-person classes. Parent handbook and children’s books are available for both in-person and on-line classes.
