Emergency Department offered at Seattle Children's
Provides emergency medical care for children ages birth-21. Provides medical evaluation and social service support for victims of child abuse or neglect. Under Safe Place For Newborns program, accepts newborn baby dropped off by the parent within 72 hours of birth. The parent shall not be prosecuted, remains anonymous and will be asked for medical history.

Provides specialized patient care for children, teens and young adults. Seattle Children's Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine team specializes in providing short-term, evidence-based care for children and teens. Provides clinical services regarding child abuse and neglect. Emergency care is available to children ages 21 years and younger, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Facilitates support groups for patients and families facing a variety of medical conditions, including grief support. Offers a variety of community education classes for parents and adolescents, including Youth Mental Health First Aid.
