Pet Licensing/Identification offered at Seattle Animal Shelter

Pet Licensing/Identification offered at Seattle Animal Shelter

Provides licenses for dogs, cats, pot-bellied pigs and miniature goats.   One-year and two-year licenses available. This facility does not provide microchip implant services outside of the spay/neuter clinic; however, most veterinarians do perform this service.   The microchip provides permanent identification for the animal.   The city shelter and many veterinarians will be able to track found pets.   Cats are no longer required to wear the license tag if the pet is licensed with the City of Seattle, is microchipped and the microchip is on file with Seattle Animal Shelter.
