Spruce Program offered at Tacoma Community College
Provides tuition and fee waivers for low-income persons who are unemployed or under employed for the previous six months. Screening is done through EOC (Educational Opportunities Center) about six weeks prior to beginning of class quarters.

Eligibility
Participants must be at least 21 years of age, reside in WA State with no college attendance for the previous six months, and meet income qualifications. Income Guidelines: - 1 person household, income must be at or below $1,962, - 2 person household, income must be at or below $2,655, - 3 person household, income must be at or below $3,349, - 4 person household, income must be at or below $4,042, - 5 person household, income must be at or below $4,735, - 6 person household, income must be at or below $5,429, - 7 person household, income must be at or below $6,122, - 8 person household, income must be at or below $6,815, - 9 person household, income must be at or below $7,509, - 10 person household, income must be at or below $8,202.
