A nonprofit organization that serves as a volunteer rescue resource for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. SCVSAR consists of eight different units that are spread out around the county.

Snohomish County Sheriff's Office

The county's largest law enforcement agency  responsible for enforcing all laws and regulations, preventing crime, investigating criminal activity, apprehending, arresting and detaining suspects, preventing and supressing delinquency and engaging in other activities that protect lives and property and preserve peace in the community.  The Sheriff's Office also manages the county jail and coordinates the Regional Drug and Gang Task Force.
