Volunteer executives provide free and confidential management counseling to small business owners and managers and those planning a new business.    Assistance includes the following: -  Business planning and operation -  Accounting and record keeping -  Financial management -  Marketing and advertising -  Basic requirements for starting a new business -  Seminars and workshops on business start-ups and planning    Additionally offers rotating local workshops that include: -  Starting a New Business -  Taxes on Small Business -  Building a Business plan     Counseling occurs in office, although SCORE also may take appointments on a once-weekly or once-monthly basis at many local chambers of commerce, libraries and other places; call for locations.
