Offers preparation of a simple will, durable power of attorney and/or physician's directive. A Wills Clinic is held once every quarter.

Application process

Call 2-1-1 for screening.   Callers may also call ELAP directly; NO drop-ins are accepted. For Spanish only, call 425-620-2778.    An interpreter service is available by phone for clients who do not speak English.

None.

Eligibility

People living in King County (except Seattle) whose income is at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty Level and are not represented by a lawyer.

Eastside Legal Assistance Program

Provides free legal assistance and information to low-income people living in East, Northeast and Southeast King County and to low-income domestic violence survivors living throughout King County. Provides specialized legal services for domestic violence survivors, and offers legal clinics covering adult guardianship, DV/family law, elder law, immigration, and general law. Wills Clinic operates quarterly.
