Secret Harbor and Foster Care Resources
Secret Harbor operates several staffed residential homes in the greater Skagit County area serving children and youth from DSHS Children's Administration. The target population for the residential programs are boys aged 8-17. The Foster Care Resources Program serves the growing population of local children in need of specialized services in a family environment. Many children have experienced neglect and physical abuse; others are suffering the effects of Fetal Alcohol Exposure, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity, and sexual abuse. The ultimate goal is for each child in the foster care program to develop healthy relationships and the skills to succeed as part of a family.
