Workforce Training offered at CRS Partner Clover Park Technical College

Offers workforce training programs in the following areas of focus: - Aerospace & Aviation, - Automotive & Trades, - Advanced Manufacturing, - Business & Personal Services, - Health & Human Development, - Nursing, - Science, - Technology, - Engineering and Design, - High School completion, - Pre-college and transitional studies, - professional development and continuing education. Programs range from short-term certificates to bachelor's degrees. Many programs are financial aid eligible and other workforce and scholarship options may be available. The main campus in Lakewood also offers a range of supports and services for current students such as bus passes, food pantry, tutoring, computer labs, events and activities, etc. Students must be enrolled and attending to access services.

Eligibility

If one is: - facing a layoff and eligible to collect unemployment benefits, - currently collecting unemployment benefits, - exhausted unemployment benefits within the past 24 months, - are a displaced homemaker (recently separated or divorced) within the past 24 months, - self-employed and now unemployed within the past 24 months - have been honorably separated from the US armed services within the last 48 months. - Active Duty Military with an official order of separation, - Stop-Gap employment (Temporary work accepted only because of lay-off or termination due to no fault of your own. Employment must be temporary in nature with the intent to end employment upon the completion of training, obtaining self-sufficient employment as specified in the individual education plan).
