Admitting: 24 hours daily.

Application process

Most UWMC medical and surgical services have a patient care coordinator who works with the patient and doctor to plan admission.  The doctor will arrange for admission to UWMC (unless patient is admitted through the Emergency Department or transferred from another hospital).

Eligibility

No restrictions.

Fee

UW Physicians and UWMC participate in most HMO organizations and preferred provider organization plans and other commercial health plans. Accepts Medicare and WA Apple Health (Medicaid).
